How do I return items which are faulty?

We do have measures in place to ensure we offer the highest level of quality across all of our products, we're sorry if this slipped through the net this time.

If you have faulty product please see details below of our faulty returns process. If you have a fault on a large items such as garden furniture, swings and trampolines and are unable to return to store please call our Customer Service Team on 0371 231 3513 for advice.

Faulty Items Return - Items purchased in store

Return within 30 days of purchase.  If you need to return a product due to a manufacturing fault please return item to any Mothercare or ELC store with proof of purchase(you can show your order confiramtion or dispatch email) within 30 days of purchase for repair, refund or exchange.

Return after 30 days. Please return item to your nearest store with proof of purchase( you can show your order confirmation or dispatch email) for assistance. Items outside our 30 days returns policy which are returned due to manufacturing fault will be repaired under our guarantee. If we are unable to rectify the fault we can offer an exchange or an alternative of the same value as the faulty item. Please note the guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions.

We will send replacement parts or if not available we can arrange collection/replacement of product. In some instances we may require photographs of the damaged/faulty item be emailed to us.
