I've received my order, but it's not suitable. How do I return it?

Hassle-free returns policy

Mothercare and Early Learning Centre are happy to refund/exchange any unused merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase upon production of your receipt*, as long as they are returned in an unused condition and in their original packaging.

*Exclusions - toiletries, software, DVDs, Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards. If any items are returned that were part of a multi buy promotion all items must be returned.

Please take the item back to your nearest Early Learning Centre store, or a Mothercare store with an ELC Shop in Shop.

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or mis-described.

Proof of purchase is required (for online orders you can use your order confirmation email or dispatch email)

We are pleased to let you know that you can also use the Collect+ facility to return items** from orders placed on our website. This is a Free of Charge service.

To request a Collect+ label, please click here to print your own label. Alternatively you can call us on 0371 231 3513 and one of our Customer Care Agents will be happy to assist you.

Most Collect+ stores are open very early in the morning to very late at night, making dropping off your parcel really convenient. **Please bear in mind that the Collect+ stores can only accept parcels of approximately 10kg in weight and the approximate size of airline 'cabin baggage' - 50cm x 30cm x 30cm.
